Freyja - the goddess of beauty, fertility, gold, and war. There is a story of her crying tears of gold for her lost husband Óðr who vanished. Freyja's falcon-feather clock allows the wearer to fly between worlds.
Thor - the god of storms, strength, and protection. He once went fishing with the giant Hymir. Using an ox's head as a bait, he caught Jörmungandr, the massive sea serpent that encircles the world. Thor's hammer Mjölnir was considered a blessing in weddings, births, and funerals as it offered protection, power, and continuity.
Loki - the god of michief, deception, and chaos, but is neither good nor evil. One night Loki snuck up and cut all of Thor's wife Sif's beautiful golden hair off. Fearing punishing by Thor, Loki promised to get new hair made by dwarves. To make up for it even further, he got the dwarves to make a spear for Odin, a necklace for Freyja, and Thor's hammer Mjölnir.
Odin - the allfather and the god of wisdom, magic, and war. He hung himself on the world tree Yggdrasil, pierced with a spear, to gain the magic secrets of runes. Odin chooses which warriors die and which ones are worthy to ascend to Valhalla.
